With a love of wildlife and the natural world encouraged by my father and family friends, I have always held a fascination with Africa and its wildlife that I fully embraced while studying for a degree in zoology.  Combining my love of photography and conservation I have spent time in Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Botswana.  I have a passion for the cheetah, Acinonyx jubatus, formed by three consecutive summers working as a tracker and researcher for the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia where every day I came eye to eye with animals of all sizes in the wild and captivity.

Behaviour has always interested me and eye-contact comes from that incredible feeling of looking something totally wild and untamed in the eye. Intelligence, helplessness, ferocity, calmness and wiliness; the full gamut of emotions one would normally associate with a human can all be seen in the wild.
